Special Project
Zukunft MEMORIAL

In February 2022, MEMORIAL International, the oldest and largest non-governmental organization in Russia, was liquidated by the Supreme Court in Moscow. With this special project we support our longtime partner MEMORIAL in building up a new organization in German exile.

Against the backdrop of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, which violates international law on all levels, we are making sure that MEMORIAL’s voice continues to be heard in the critical debate about the past and present of Russia and Europe.
