Körber Start-Hub
Anyone who want to help in shaping the world, must take the initiative. The Körber Start-Hub offers an open arena for young doers who want to make society better. In the Start Hub, they will find a comprehensive range of opportunities for learning together, networking and founding their own social start-up.
Members of what is known as Generation Z (young people born between 1995 and 2010) have grown up in a time characterised by equally great opportunities and crises: Developments as diverse as digitalisation, New Work, collapsing ecological systems and the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic shape their unique view of the world. In the Start-Hub, they have an opportunity to work on solutions to the complex problems that determine their future.
The Start-Hub is firstly a physical place in which young people can develop and implement their own ideas. With our offers and programmes, we aim to strengthen the social-entrepreneurial thinking and actions of Gen Z and to create an awareness of social challenges.

Bringing a year of practical craftsmanship and career orientation to life – this is the goal pursued by the ‘Hands-On!’ team, which won €50,000 in prize money in the first batch of our Next.Generation Incubator Programme.

Covering 500 m² in the building of the Körber Stiftung in the Hamburg HafenCity, the Körber Start-Hub offers 40 workspaces, multiple meeting rooms, numerous workshops, programmes and events.
