The Körber Network Foreign Policy comprises a select group of Berlin-based young foreign-policy professionals. Its members meet on a regular basis to discuss issues of German and European foreign policy with international decision-makers. An annual field trip takes the Network to hot spots of current and international affairs.

Since 2005, the Körber Network Foreign Policy has gathered an exclusive group of young foreign-policy professionals from key institutions, including the German Bundestag, the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Foreign Office and other ministries, as well as think tanks and select embassies. The Network’s members are invited to join by way of personal recommendation. They discuss the challenges of German and European foreign and security policy with senior decision-makers and experts in regular background discussions and an annual Field Trip. The Network provides members the opportunity to educate themselves on various foreign and security policy issues, to contribute their ideas to the foreign policy debate and, at the same time, to exchange ideas across institutional boundaries.

Every year, 2-3 members of the Körber Network Foreign Policy have the opportunity to join the Munich Security Conference (MSC) as Munich Young Leaders. The Munich Young Leaders programme is a joint project by Körber Foundation and MSC. During the conference, the participants discuss current foreign and security policy challenges with high-ranking politicians, officials and experts. The programme provides a forum for future decision-makers from all over the world to strengthen their networks and inspire new thinking.
