Körber History Forum Retreat

The Retreat is an intensive, two-day exchange between selected international experts in history, politics, civil society, the military, and the media. It provides a space for analysing and contextualising current conflicts through a historical lens. A historical perspective on geopolitical and -strategic changes is crucial for dealing with preventing future wars and conflicts.

At the Retreat, history and politics meet through an “applied history” approach, preparing for the global and European sociopolitical challenges of our present.

It succeeded the “Körber History Forum” conference, which used to take place in Berlin until 2021.
