Körber History Forum Retreat

The Retreat is an intensive two-day exchange of ideas between selected international experts from the fields of history, politics, civil society, the military, and the media. It provides a space to engage with historical contexts in order to better understand and address current challenges and conflicts. Given the shifting international order and the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine, a historical perspective on geopolitics and grand strategy is crucial.

The Retreat is the place where history and politics come together to prepare for the common political and social challenges of our present.

The Retreat is the successor format to the “Körber History Forum” conference, which was held in Berlin until 2021.
