Women were shaping the economy of tomorrow, yet they remained underrepresented in the startup scene. At the same time, numerous female entrepreneurs showed that women’s entrepreneurship was driving innovation and change. The event therefore focused on the conditions needed to inspire more women to start businesses and to provide targeted support for female founders.
Three female founders presented their business ideas and spoke openly about their challenges, successes, and learnings. The focus was on their personal paths into self-employment, the importance of networks and support services, and the question of how more women could be encouraged to engage in entrepreneurial action. In addition, participants discussed ways to provide targeted support for female founders, improve access to financing, and strengthen the visibility of women in business.
Startup profiles at a glance
mutiva develops digital services for women who have experienced psychological violence. Its first product is RE:START — an approximately six-month online program with self-learning modules, one-on-one and group coaching, and community exchange. The program supports women beyond traditional support services as they return to a self-determined life. mutiva makes the invisible visible and aims to become a central point of contact for psychological violence in the long term.
MUVN is a ride-sharing service for objects. The Hamburg-based startup connects people who have free space in their car with people who want to transport items. This allows existing journeys to be used more efficiently, lowers transport costs, and avoids unnecessary empty trips. With its sustainable sharing approach, MUVN creates an affordable and flexible alternative to traditional logistics providers.
Bring Together is a matching platform for communal living. The social startup connects people with similar values, lifestyles, and housing ideas and brings them together with suitable housing projects, communities, and like-minded people. Its aim is to promote new forms of living together and counteract social loneliness.
