The author and publicist Alfred Kantorowicz (1899-1979) documented his life in exile in diaries from 1933 onwards. While he left France in 1936 to fight in the Spanish Civil War, his girlfriend Frieda Wolf (1905-1968) also recorded her experiences in Paris in her diary. Josefine Israel and Samuel Weiss from the theatre will present the texts in a staged reading, framed by illustrations by illustrator Philine Dorenbusch and the original diaries, which will be presented on site.
