Exile art in focus

The collector and publisher Thomas B. Schumann has collected works of art by exiled artists over several decades. The tour presents selected paintings from his important collection, which is an important pillar of the planned Forum Exilkultur in Bonn. What are the fates behind the works? What were the experiences of the persecuted and marginalised artists such as Eugen Spiro, Lotte Laserstein and Milein Cosman?
