Who goes into exile and what are the reasons for leaving their home country? Stories are told in which the private and the political cannot be separated. While the artist Badr Kamoona, who had to fear for his life in Iraq because of his homosexuality, and the musician Dong Zhou, who lives subversively in the Chinese sense, have found an artistic home far away from their birthplaces, it is made clear that a feeling of exile can also arise at home.
