FREMD by Michel Friedman

A Jewish child comes to Germany, the country of the perpetrators who murdered almost his entire family. The child grows up and is caught between his parents’ traumas, his own fear, his experiences of anti-Semitism and marginalisation and the desire to simply live. Kurdish-Alevi director Emel Aydoğdu will stage the long poem in prose form by publicist Michel Friedman in a polyphonic choral performance, accompanied live by Israeli musician Yotam Schlezinger.
