The documentary film by filmmaker Christoph Böll provides an insight into the eventful life of artist Milein Cosman. As a teenager, she was forced to flee from the National Socialists due to her Jewish origins and found a new home in England. In Germany, the country of her birth, Cosman remained unknown for a long time. With depth and humour, the artist tells of her emigration, her early years in the north of London and her reunion with the Rhineland in Bonn in 1949.
