In between or already in the middle?

The photo exhibition is the result of a project in which refugees who have been living in Bonn for several years were interviewed about their everyday experiences and their attempts to build a self-determined life. The focus was on how young people create a home and a sense of belonging under the conditions of forced mobility. Portraits of young people with refugee biographies provide cautious insights into these very personal stories of exile.
