At the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum on 12 November 2024, high-ranking politicians and experts will discuss Germany's role amid an increasing fragmentation of the global order.

In an era of increasing multipolarity and multiple crises, questions of peace, security and stability in Europe have come to the fore again. As Western values and the cohesion of the EU are being put to the test, Germany's leading role is in demand as a force for sustainable change. International understanding and maintaining dialogue are crucial to securing Europe's role in shaping tomorrow's world and to meeting expectations on the international stage.

Against the backdrop of a multitude of global tipping points and just days after the US presidential elections, the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum will address the most pressing questions for German foreign policy: Which alliances will endure, which strategic partnerships have yet to be established? How will Europe respond to the simultaneous crises and find long-term solutions? How can we ensure that the ‘method of dialogue’ remains possible?
