bauhaus music weekend
The history of the Bauhaus and the Bauhäaus artists is a history of exile. The musicologist and project leader Kai Hinrich Müller and other experts will devote three days to concerts and discussions on musical life at the Bauhaus. They will shed light on the lives of later exiled graduates, the experience of exile and its influence on their music production. Works by the artists Stefan Wolpe, Paul Arma and Ruth Crawford Seeger will be performed.
