"Alisa Weil - Germany, Palestine and back"

Schulamith Weil reads from Carsten Teichert’s biography of her mother Alisa Weil. Alisa Weil was born in Germany, but fled with her family from the Nazis to the British Mandate of Palestine as a child. Her parents returned to Germany with Alisa in 1948 to help build a democratic state. The reading will be followed by a discussion with Schulamith Weil.
